Ducatin 250-kuutioisen pyörän ensiesiintyminen

Tuleva viikonloppu on merkittävä Ducatin motocrosshistoriassa, sillä heidän uusi 250-kuutioinen pyörä nähdään ensimmäistä kertaa kisaradoilla.
Italian kansallinen motocross-sarja käynnistyy viikonloppuna Ottobianon radalla ja kilpailussa nähdään mukana ensimmäistä kertaa Ducatin uusin Desmo250 MX-pyörä. Vastaava tilanne nähtiin viime vuonna Ducatin 450-kuutioisen pyörän kanssa, joka teki myös ensi esiintymisen kisaradoilla Italian sarjassa. Pyörän ohjaimissa nähdään sarjan yhdeksän kertainen mestari Alessandro Lupino, joka ajaa MX2-luokan koko kuuden osakilpailun mittaisen sarjan. Lupino toimi tiimin kuljettajana myös viime vuonna 450-kuutioisella pyörällä, jolla hän voitti mestaruuden.
Ducati tiedotti tällä viikolla myös sen, että uusi Desmo450 MX-malli tulee myyntiin kesäkuussa Italiassa ja heinäkuun aikana muualle Eurooppaan ja USA:n markkinoille. Mikäli aikataulu pysyy 250-kuutioisen kohdalla samana, voidaan sitä odottaa markkinoille ensi kesänä.

The continued partnership with nine-time champion Lupino adds to the confidence. The sales roadmap for the Desmo 450 MX also shows that Ducati is building a very systematic and determined off-road strategy.
