That definitely doesn’t sound normal. A tire losing that many studs after only a couple rides should at least be checked, especially if you’ve used their tires before without issues. Weather can affect wear, but it shouldn’t cause studs to fall out in batches. I think they should’ve taken your case seriously and inspected the batch instead of dismissing it.
